About me
I am an experienced counsellor & psychotherapist accredited by the BACP. I have been practicing for over 7 years in a private capacity and also across a broad spectrum of educational settings working with young people.
I have a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and studied the accredited course at the Interpsyche Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy studies in Dartford, Kent. Working Integratively basically means that I use several different approaches and models in my client work acording to individual needs. My unique model incorporates the Person Centred approach of Carl Rogers, Psychodynamics, Cognitive behavioural Therapy and when appropriate Gestalt interventions and creative work such as sand and drawing therapy. I have a keen interest in the positive effects of Mindfulness and encourage the use of some of its principles and techniques into our daily lives.
