About me

I have 20 years experience of working as a counsellor, am fully qualified, and an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I offer confidential, individual and couples counselling in Bedford.

In addition to my work in private practice I have wide experience of counselling within various organisations and charities.

My core training is in both Psychodynamic and Person Centred Counselling. I recognise the importance of continued professional development and of keeping up to date with advancements in the counselling field and have continued to build on my core training since. This includes specific training in the following areas: Eating Disorders, Obesity, Self Harm, Sexual Abuse, Short Term Therapy, Post Adoption Counselling.

I am also trained to Level II in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy which recognises the link between the body and psychological issues.
