He also implants pacemakers & defibrillators including biventricular cardiac resynchronisation devices. His specialist interest is ablation of complex arrhythmias especially AF and life-threatening VT/VF. He is a recognised global key opinion leader and frequently travels abroad to assist operators in complex cases.

Prof. Dhanjal qualified with first class Honours from the University of Birmingham. He continued his training in Glasgow, Birmingham, London and Paris. He was awarded a prestigious British Heart Foundation Research Fellowship and gained his PhD in 2007. Prof. Dhanjal was awarded a two-year advanced electrophysiology fellowship at the renowned Henri Mondor Hospital in Paris and was appointed as an NHS Consultant in 2014.

Prof. Dhanjal works within the NHS as a clinical academic. His primary goal is to provide a world class standard of care utilising both his clinical and research expertise which allows him to apply the latest global evidence and cutting-edge technologies for his patients. This includes radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation and pulsed field ablation technologies.
Prof. Dhanjal manages all arrhythmias within his NHS and private practice. He leads the Ventricular Tachycardia service at UHCW.
Prof. Dhanjal has various proctoring contracts which allows him to help colleagues around the world with complex arrhythmia cases. He has operated in Prague, Paris, Doha, Greece and the USA to date. He has been invited on several occasions to perform 'live cases' during international conferences.
Prof. Dhanjal was appointed as the tenured Professor of Cardiology with Warwick Medical School and leads the Heart Rhythm Research Group.
