About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years' experience working with adults, children, and young people experiencing a range of mental health difficulties. I have completed specialist training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). I have some specialism in working with neurodiversity, learning disabilities, and children and young people..

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), a registered clinical psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) and an Accredited Cognitive and Behavioural Psychotherapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).

Outside of my private practice, I am an Assistant Director of Programmes with the NHS England South-East Mental Health team. Prior to my current role I worked as a clinical lead/expert for NHS England and Health Education England across the South-East. I have been a member of several national expert reference groups and accreditation boards, developing training curricula for psychological practitioners, accreditation standards for training courses and professionals, clinical standards, and practice guidelines. For several years, I worked as a programme lead for mental health/psychological practice training programmes at the University of Sussex. I am also a reviewer for the National Institute for Health Research, in relation to research grants and publications regarding mental health or psychological practice.
