About us

I am an experienced Clinical Psychologist, with many years experience working in the NHS and most recently the charity sector, as well as working in private practice. I am comfortable working with individuals, couples and families, across the lifespan and with a wide range of clinical, relational, physical health and emotional difficulties.
I aim to support my clients in living fulfilled and fulfilling lives, whatever their difficulties. I am a supportive, open and non-judgemental therapist, and aim to stand side-by-side with my clients in addressing their difficulties. Through this, I try to help my clients reach their full potential, to empower them to take ownership of the changes they are making, with a view to maintaining these changes beyond the end of our therapeutic work together.
I work integratively and incorporate elements from different therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused therapy (CFT) and mindfulness. I am also particularly interested in working in a relational way (understanding how the relationship with the self and others is developed and maintained, and how this may impact on the individual's day-to-day interactions, their past and future) and use a schema-therapy informed approach in my work.

Areas of interest

I work with clients across the lifespan and presenting with a wide range of mental health and physical health difficulties; I am comfortable working with clients with a wide range of presentations, including anxiety-related difficulties, low mood, stress, adjustment and bereavement; one of my particular areas of interest is the overlap between physical health and psychological well-being, and I have worked with clients with many different physical health conditions; I work integratively, combining elements of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-focused therapy (CFT), mindfulness and Schema therapy (ST)
