About me
I obtained my medical degree from University of Glasgow in 1992. My haematology training was undertaken in Scotland and New Zealand. I obtained a PhD (in Chronic Leukaemia) in 2004 and became a Consultant in 2006. I am now based at the Beatson Cancer Centre and Gartnavel Hospital in Glasgow.
Areas of interest
Interests include investigation and diagnosis of all blood count and haematological abnormalities; treatment of anaemia; anticoagulation; diagnosis and monitoring of blood disorders (including blood cancers) are offered in addition to management of most other haematological disorders. In most circumstances I am happy to give second opinions.
