About me
My practice covers the full range of thoracic surgery. This includes diseases of the Chest Wall, Trachea & Major Airways, Lung, pleura, mediastinum & Diaphragm both benign & Malignant. This includes an extensive variety of procedures that are diagnostic, therapeutic or palliative both open and thoracoscopic including video-assisted surgery (VATS).
I have trained in the UK and USA.
I have an interest in lung cancer, interstitial lung disease & COPD management; I’m the lead for the Endobronchial Lung Volume Reduction Service using both Valves & Coils.
I've been in my current consultant post at Southampton hospital since 2012
I'm also a Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Clinical & Experimental Medicine at Southampton University Medical School
