About me

Dr Julius Bourke has been practising as a Consultant Psychiatrist for over 15 years. His areas of expertise include treatment-resistant cases of depression, anxiety and trauma-disorders, functional somatic syndromes such as those involving persistent pain and fatigue, and neuropsychiatric conditions, including functional neurological disorders, brain injury and the psychiatric aspects of epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis and other neurological diagnoses.
These are conditions that lie at the interface between psychiatry, medicine and surgery and he collaborates closely with consultants from various medical specialties, and with a team of allied professionals in order to ensure comprehensive treatment and rehabilitation.
