About me

I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 17 years' experience of working in the NHS and 10 years� private practice. I have worked in a variety of different services, settings and areas of clinical interest. For more than 8 years I worked in physical health services, particularly within Cancer Services. More recently, I worked in Acute Mental Health Services.
I believe that mental, emotional and physical health are interrelated and can never be fully separated: I treat the individual as a whole.
I have a strong interest in a number of different psychological therapies and approaches, particularly Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (or ACT: see www.contextualscience.org).
