About me

Jo has practised Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for over 18 years and is an accredited CBT Psychotherapist with the British Association Behavioural Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) and EMDR practitioner (level 3).
Her areas of speciality include working with Anxiety Disorders (Panic, OCD, Social Anxiety, Health Anxiety, PTSD, GAD, persistent Worry and Phobias), Depression, Self Esteem and Confidence issues, Perfectionism, Anger problems, Bipolar Disorder and Psychosis. Jo has ongoing training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy and often uses these approaches to treat a wide range of mental health difficulties when requested and deemed appropriate.

She works with young people (16 years upwards) and adults.
