About me
I completed MBBS and internship and commenced higher surgical training in London Deanery. I trained at various hospitals including Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospital and Guys and St Thomas' Hospital (London). I have travelled extensively and gained valuable international experience from centres in Paris and Helsiki.
I specialise in all aspects of breast disease, benign and malignant. I run rapid diagnostic one stop breast clinic, where diagnosis is made on the same day for breast symptoms following triple assessment. I provide oncoplastic surgery for breast cancer patients with immediate breast reconstruction using implant or ones own tissue (muscle and fat) as well as revisional and benign cosmetic surgery, including symmetrization after breast cancer surgery.
My special area of expertise is advanced local perforator based flap surgery (LICAP, MICAP), which allows patients to avoid mastectomy and complex reconstruction while keeping natural breast shape and feel with quick recovery time (for further details see website “breastclinic.com” section “can I avoid Mastectomy”)
For patients who cannot avoid mastectomy, I offer immediate breast reconstruction without disturbing the muscles thus preserving full function of the muscles.
Other techniques include therapeutic reduction (removing large tumours with breast reduction), breast augmentation, mastopexy (breast lift), breast reduction and fat transfer (lipofilling).
