About me
Mr El-Gizawy completed his Specialist Registrar training in the West Midlands Deanery. He received his training in advanced laparoscopic surgery in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and Birmingham Women’s Hospital, as well as completed a postgraduate diploma in advanced gynaecological endoscopy in Surrey University. He is also formally trained in robotic surgery and is a national trainer (proctor) for robotic gynae surgery.
He is currently a Consultant Gynaecologist at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.He provides private gynaecology services at the Nuffield North Staffordshire and Rowley Hall Hospitals.
Mr El-Gizawy has extensive experience managing general gynaecology cases, as well as disorders of menstruation and female hormones. He has a keen interest in managing pelvic pain and endometriosis and is proficient in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgical techniques. He is an accredited endometriosis surgeon with the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and a trained robotic surgeon.
