About me

Kirsty is a fully Qualified Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist with BACP Accreditation and Qualified Counselling Supervisor. She also teaches counselling and psychotherapy in both Higher and Further education on undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Kirsty has extensive experience providing counselling and psychotherapy to ADULTS, CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE and aims to provide a therapeutic experience characterised by acceptance, genuine warmth and understanding within a safe and confidential setting. A gentle approach which pays close attention to your individual story, allowing you to explore your difficulties whilst experiencing sensitivity, respect and valuing. She feels privileged to be a part of every therapeutic journey and to witness positive change in her clients. The option to work creatively is also available if clients would like to work this way, making use of art materials and creative techniques including Sand Tray. Kirsty adheres to the BACP ethical framework for counselling professions (2016) and continues to be committed to professional academic development through the University of South Wales. She is currently completing PhD studies.
