About me

Qualifying as a Occupational Therapist over 32 years ago, I have worked within multiple healthcare environments including the NHS, private, corporate and charitable sectors.
I am a Advanced Clinical Practitioner OT working in the NHS within ME/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Chronic Pain and Long covid. From previous extensive work in rehabilitation and local authority, I am able prescribe equipment and adaptations to maintain and improve function and quality of life plus rehabilitation programmes.
Prior to my current role I was an Advanced Practitioner OT in Lancashire Adult Social Care, assessing patients with life limiting conditions including Dementia.
My independent work includes the above services, seating and functional assessments plus intervention for fatigue. The symptoms of fatigue could be as a direct result of ME/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or as a symptom of another diagnosis like Covid, Fibromyalgia, MS or cancer.
I can travel to assess individuals at home within Lancashire and can conduct fatigue management via zoom.
I can assist in return to work and education plans for age 18 and over.
