About me

Dr Ferguson is experienced in the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, including sun damage, non-melanoma and melanoma cancers. He consults for adult general dermatology including psoriasis, eczema and acne. Dr Ferguson performs skin biopsies and minor skin surgery.

Dr Ferguson has special interests in Photodermatology and Vitiligo. He also offers advice and treatment for patients with Alopecia Areata and other causes of hair loss.

Dr John Ferguson MB ChB MRCP (derm) is a Dermatologist. He trained in dermatology at St George's University Hospital in London and undertook a fellowship year in Melbourne, Australia at the Skin and Cancer Foundation and St Vincent's Hospital dermatology department.

His main NHS base is St John's Institute of Dermatology, Guys Hospital, Great Maze Pond, London.
