About me

I have worked in the NHS for over 30 years and have extensive experience of working with a wide range of psychological difficulties such as those related to anxiety, low mood and depression, self-esteem, bereavement, trauma, physical health conditions and sexual difficulties across the life span.

I am a Chartered Psychologist, member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC). I am a committee member of the Clinical Psychology Division's (BPS) Perinatal Faculty and an accredited CBT Therapist with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) And an accredited RO-DBT therapist. The therapy I offer is integrative and draws on CBT, ACT, Compassion based therapies, RO-DBT, EMDR and Systemic Therapy.

Psychological difficulties such as those related to anxiety; low mood; and depression; self-esteem; bereavement; trauma; PTSD; physical health conditions; and sexual difficulties; sexual pain; secondary infertility, erectile dysfunction, PE.

Specialist interest in women's health; (obstetrics and gynaecology) including antenatal; and postnatal; anxiety; and depression; birth trauma; and fear of birth; Postnatal Depression.
