About me
Professor Shah is the Chief of Cardiology at King's College Hospital and King's Health Partners as well as the Director of the King's College London British Heart Foundation Centre of Excellence. He is also the overall lead for the King's Health Partners Cardiovascular Programme which is integrating the clinical cardiovascular services of King's College Hospital and Guys & St Thomas' Hospital.
His major clinical expertise lies in the areas of interventional cardiology and heart failure, including difficult-to-diagnose and manage conditions.
Professor Shah is a graduate of the University of Wales College of Medicine and also undertook training in the USA. He is an elected Fellow of the UK Academy of Medical Sciences, the American Heart Association, the European Society of Cardiology and the International Society for Heart Research.
