About me

Mr Siddiqui has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital since 2013, with a special interest in Upper Limb Surgery.
He qualified from St Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1999. He proceeded to Specialist Orthopaedic training based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore. He developed further sub-specialty skills and experience in all aspects of Upper Limb Surgery (shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist surgery) during three specialist fellowships; one year at the world-renowned Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Australia and a further year at Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol and University Hospital Coventry.

He is the lead surgeon for complex shoulder and elbow surgery and upper limb trauma at Kingston Hospital.

Mr Siddiqui is a member of the governing Council of the British Elbow and Shoulder Surgeons society and is their Equality and Diversity lead.

Mr Siddiqui is Research Lead for Kingston Hospital Orthopaedic Dept and is involved with several multi-centre research trials involving shoulder & elbow and trauma surgery.
He has published and presented his research on hand, wrist, shoulder and elbow surgery nationally and internationally. Current research interests include keyhole (arthroscopic) shoulder surgery, shoulder fractures, shoulder replacements, elbow fractures, and rehabilitation following surgery.

He is also in charge of orthopaedic education and simulation at Kingston Hospital, and clinical lead for orthopaedic audits.
