About me
Shalom Cousin gained a wealth of experience in working with members of varied communities during his Smicha training and there discovered his innate talents in helping others cope with personal and communal issues. This inspired Shalom to complete a BSc (Hons) degree in Integrative Counselling.
Shalom’s primary therapeutic approach is the psychodynamic model. In his work, Shalom aims to help clients bring their unconscious into consciousness, through helping clients explore their present conflicts.
Shalom has extensive experience in working with adolescents and adults suffering from Bipolar Affective Disorder, Depression and Eating Disorders. Shalom currently works for a leading North London Counselling Charity servicing the wider community and in his private practice in North West London.
