What I Offer:
I offer the following in East Dulwich:
-Psychological assessment, therapies and support for families and adults who are parents
-Parenting advice and support and psychological therapies for parents
-Antenatal and postnatal support, Getting to Know Your Newborn sessions (0-10 weeks) and parent-infant therapy
-Psychological therapies include; Narrative and Systemic therapies, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT), EMDR & parent-infant and parent-child therapy.
About Me:
I have worked as a psychologist in the NHS since 2003 and as a qualified clinical psychologist since 2008. My clinical psychology doctoral training included gaining a specialist child and family training place at the world renowned Tavistock Centre. In my NHS practice I worked at the Tavistock Centre, Central & North West London Adult Mental Health Services and the award winning Islington Community CAMHS before moving to a senior clinical psychology role at Hertfordshire CAMHS in 2010.
Qualifications & Memberships:
Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy)
Bachelor of Science with Honours degree in Psychology (BSc Hons)
British Psychological Society Chartered Psychologist status (CPsychol)
Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (AFBPsS), awarded in recognition of experience and contribution to the field of psychology
Association of Child Psychologists in Private Practice (ACHIPPP)
I hold enhanced DBS clearance and professional indemnity insurance
