About me
I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in disorders of the adult Hip, Knee and foot.
I qualified from Leicester University in 1996 but returned to my native Kent and South East to continue my Orthopaedic training working in Hospitals of London and the South East. On completing my training I spent a year Fellowship at Guy’s Hospital learning techniques in lower limb arthroplasty, young adult hip pathology and joint sparing and soft tissue knee surgery.
I have widely published and presented at international meetings on many aspects of knee surgery. Alongside my busy NHS practice at Darent Valley Hospital and Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup I continue to work on research and training of junior surgeons. I am Chairman and Lead for Clinical Governance and Patient Safety at Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup, as part of Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust elective services.
