About me
Richard Boden graduated from London in 2001 before training in London and the Northwest. He completed the Wrightington Complex Arthroplasty Fellowship before commencing a visiting Trauma and Limb Reconstruction Fellowship at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. A year spent as the Cavendish Arthroplasty Fellow gave unparalleled experience of complex revision hip and knee surgery and here, Mr Boden gained an interest in management of the infected joint replacement and complex revisions for significant bone loss.
Mr Boden was awarded Honorary Senior Lecturer form the University of Manchester in 2016. He undertakes teaching and research into hip and knee surgery. He is also Clinical Governance and Infection Lead for Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
