About me
I am a Consultant Cardiologist and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer. I work privately from The London Clinic, the Clementine Churchill and The Wellington Hospitals.
I qualified from Guy's and St Thomas' Medical School in 2001 and was awarded a PhD in 2012 for research into early imaging markers of cardiovascular disease, particularly in individuals of Indian Asian ethnicity and patients undergoing head and neck radiotherapy. I have published extensively in these areas and also in the assessment of valvular heart disease.
I have extensive experience in exercise and dobutamine stress echocardiography. I also have extensive training in cardiac MRI and coronary CT angiography following my appointment as Cardiac Imaging Fellow at The Royal Brompton.
I see patients with a wide variety of cardiovascular problems such as chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations/arrhythmia, valve disease, hypertension, patent foramen ovale (PFO), heart failure, cardiomyopathy and dyslipidaemia.
