About me

Each one of us is a unique indvidual.
I welcome those from any cultural background, belief sytem and sexual orientation, particularly those with any type of difference, including neurodiversity.
As a counselling psychologist , CBT therapist and relationship counsellor, I use an integrative approach, working with adults and young people. I am also an EMDR therapist.
You will be carfefully listened to, valued and not judged. Sometimes it is helpful to have goals in mind although this is not always necessary.
Because a good 'fit' is essential between client and therapist, I offer a free 20-minute conversation to talk about what you need from therapy and how that might look , before we commit to working together.
I work in the NHS, for Relate, and previously in university counselling, bereavement care, eating disorders, trauma services, with young people online, and in the charity sector. I am also a clinical supervisor for other therapists.
My nursing background is often helpful for those who have medical issues or hospital-related trauma.
I work face-to-face in Stockport and online and offer late afternoon and evening appointments.
