Qualifications and Experience
Hashim graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009, obtaining a Masters in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy. He continued his studies with a MSc degree in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health from University College London.
Currently, Hashim works in Central London, as well as lecturing at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. Hashim was part of the Medical Team for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Hashim is registered with the General Osteopathic Council, a member of the British Osteopathic Association and a board member of the Osteopathic Sports Care Association UK.
Treatment Approach
Hashim has a varied approach from gentle stretching techniques to deeper soft tissue work and gentle joint mobilisation through to direct joint manipulation. The treatment style will vary depending on your individual needs, with supplementary advice given to patients on lifestyle, exercise, ergonomics and dietary issues.
Experience and Interest in Speciality
Hashim has a sporting background in football, cricket, tennis and squash, which has led him to a particular interest in the treatment and management of sports injuries and bio-mechanical issues. He has worked with Fulham FC, Wealdstone FC and Amersham & Chiltern RFC. Hashim was also part of a select group chosen for the host medical team at London 2012.
