About us

Dr. Victoria Galbraith is a psychologist, writer, trainer, editor, author, researcher and mindfulness facilitator/ teacher. She qualified as a Counselling Psychologist in 2003 and is registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council and is a British Psychological Society (BPS) Chartered Psychologist, Associate Fellow. She has a private independent practice providing psychological therapy and consultancy. Formerly Chief Assessor for the BPS Qualification in Counselling Psychology, Registrar for the BPS Qualification and Programme Director for the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton. She is also a mindfulness teacher and offer Mindfulness for Health (pain) and Stress.

Dr. Victoria offers remote therapy and has a clinic in Wellington, Telford and Shrewsbury. Her clinical work includes providing psychological therapy for psychological difficulties such as anxiety disorders (including panic), depression, eating disorders, post-traumatic stress (PTSD); the effects of childhood sexual abuse; relationship breakdown; domestic violence; and self-esteem issues. She also provides ADHD assessments for adults, offering thorough, evidence-based evaluations that aim to bring clarity, understanding, and practical recommendations. She predominantly works with adults and adolescents, whereby she builds a collaborative relationship, with the aim of exploring underlying issues to empower individuals to consider change.
