About me
Keith Hayward is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Queens Hospital, Burton-upon-Trent. He has been based at the hospital for 15 years.
?He specialises in lower limb arthroplasty, which includes total hip and knee arthroplasty, as well as partial knee replacement surgery.
He also offers joint preserving surgery on the knee, such as soft tissue surgery, patella realignment and stabilisation surgery. For the forefoot he performs surgery for problems such as bunions, hallux valgus and hallux rigidus, and lesser toe deformities.
Mr Hayward studied Medicine at Witswatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa graduating in 1995. He completed his orthopaedic training in the West Midlands, including a fellowship under Mr Tim Wilton and Mr Guido Geutjens at Royal Derby Hospital. He is a trainer in Advanced Trauma Life Support.
