About me

Experienced qualified structural Osteopath and Sports Masseuse. Sophie has a wide and varied professional experience having worked in both the NHS and private practice since 2009 after qualifying from the British School of Osteopathy. Her experience includes working with patients from all walks of life and ages and in settings as varied as roadside at the London Marathon, within refugee camps in Africa and home visits for those unable to come to clinic. Sophie has a special interest in tackling stress and the effects this has on the body. Sophie has had great success in treating long standing shoulder and neck tension. She has extensive knowledge in treating patients with hypermobility syndrome or degenerative conditions e.g. arthritic knees and also has post graduate training in care for the ageing body, western acupuncture, functional rehabilitation and pregnancy related back pain. Sophie's interests outside osteopathy include teaching French and Spanish, organic gardening and playing tennis.
