About me
Matthew Richardson is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 10 years experience of helping people understand and recover from their difficulties. He is a committed and enthusiastic psychologist experienced in undertaking complex psychological assessments and evidence-based interventions. Matthew works alongside his clients to identify areas of difficulty and opportunities for development in order to meet their personal goals. He has completed additional training in CBT and mindfulness-based approaches. As the lead psychologist in his NHS community team he provides clinical leadership for psychological therapies and consultation to multidisciplinary teams. Matthew works both in the NHS and private practice and has experience of working therapeutically across the lifespan and with a broad range of clinical presentations.
COVID-19 update: I am continuing to practice, offering remote sessions and I am accepting new patients. As the guidance changes and restrictions are eased patients will have a choice of maintaining remote (video) contact or switching to face to face meetings.
