About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist with over a decade of experience helping patients understand, diagnose, and treat a wide range of heart conditions. My approach is centred on safe, evidence?based care delivered with compassion, clarity, and attention to the individual needs of every patient.

I see patients at Nuffield Health The Grosvenor Hospital, Chester, and as an Interventional Cardiologist I also provide expert treatment for complex coronary disease at both the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and the Countess of Chester Hospital.

My training includes leading UK cardiology centres as well as an advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in Canada. I also hold a Master's degree in Clinical Education, have completed NHS and Oxford University leadership programmes, and am accredited in Cardiac CT.

Research & Academic Work:

I am actively involved in cardiovascular research, particularly in the field of heart attacks (acute myocardial infarction).

My work has been published in major medical journals, including The Lancet and BMJ, and has shaped national cardiology practice, including the model now used across the UK to assess PCI operator performance.

This academic background ensures my patients benefit from the latest evidence and advances in heart care.
