About me

As a Clinical Psychologist, I have skills in assessment, formulation, interventions, evaluation, research, supervision and teaching. I draw on a variety of psychological and therapeutic models including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Systemic and Family Therapy. This means that I have a wide range of therapeutic techniques and principles that I can apply to my work.

I am committed to helping people better understand their social, emotional and/or behavioural difficulties, build on their own resiliencies and find new ways of doing things that make them feel less troubled and more content.

Before going into private practice, I worked for over 11 years in the NHS; 7 years post-qualified in a Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service, offering individual and family interventions, and 18 months post-qualified with adults with chronic pain and mental health difficulties.
