About me

I have more than 11 years of consultant level experience in managing patients with chronic pain. In addition to Spire Hull and East riding hospitals private practice, I work as a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain medicine in Hull University Teaching Hospitals (HUTH) NHS Trust.

I am proficient in radiology guided and ultrasound guided interventional procedures and regularly do pain interventions and radiofrequency treatments for managing chronic back pain and Neck pain conditions. I have refined my skills in managing common painful conditions as well as more obscure pain disorders.

I have special interest in Spinal cord stimulator and peripheral nerve stimulator for treating chronic neuropathic pain conditions. I am the Clinical lead for Neuromodulation in HUTH NHS Trust. I have received clinical excellence award in HUTH for my work in governance roles and establishing spinal cord stimulator service.

I adopt a holistic approach to pain management, taking in to account the multidimensional nature of chronic pain. I focus on improving the quality of life and functioning of my patients by offering a wide range of interventional procedures and pharmacologic management for their painful conditions.
