About me
I trained in colo-rectal surgery in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and undertook a fellowship in New York at the Memorial Sloane Kettering Cancer Center.
I enjoy a broad general practice including colonoscopy (including bowel cancer screening) and upper GI endoscopy, laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repair, and minor surgical procedures such as lipoma removal.
In addition I have a specialist interest in surgical oncology, including surgery for sarcomas and advanced abdominal tumour disease.
Areas of interest
Investigation of gastrointestinal problems including colonoscopy and upper GI endoscopy; management of gallstone disease with laparoscopic cholecystectomy; management of inguinal and other hernias; management of rectal bleeding; management of colorectal cancers; management of soft tissue sarcomas and other masses
