About me

I qualified from The University of Salford in 2002 with a Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics.

I chose to specialise in Orthotics and have been fortunate to work within a number of excellent multi-disciplinary clinics since graduation.
After promotion to Clinical Specialist in 2006 I have taken an active part in the training of students from Strathclyde, Salford and La Trobe Universities.
Since 2016 I have been building research skills and experience by following the HEE/NIHR Integrated clinical academic pathway to build a clinical academic career.

Areas of interest

Paediatric orthotics, biomechanics, neuromuscular conditions, cranial remoulding- plagiocephaly treatment, post op cranial remoulding, orthotic management of pectus carinatum.
