About me

Dr Stefano Palmisani graduated from the University of Rome in 2005. He commenced training in anesthesiology in Italy and subsequently undertook higher specialist training in pain medicine in Spain (Valencia General Hospital) and London (Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital). Dr Palmisani was appointed as Consultant in Pain Medicine at Guy’s & St Thomas Hospital in 2011, and he is now actively involved in interventional pain medicine with a special interest in neuromodulation, minimally invasive endoscopic spine interventions and clinical research. He has authored 5 journal and book chapters and 23 research articles in international journals, with an H-Index of 11 (http://scholar.google.it/citations?user=f1JQqyEAAAAJ&hl=it).
