I own my own diagnostic ultrasound machine, and am in the process of furthering my skills in this area.
Therefore I am able to use this to assess certain superficial structures (shoulder, knee, ankle, wrist, and muscular problems), to gain a clearer diagnosis. It is possible to view in detail what is going on under the skin dynamically on the screen.
I am also interested in using it in rehabilitating clients in correct movement patterns, i.e. shoulder stabilsing exercises so clients can visually observe the correct muscles working.
