About us

I am an Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in Cataract surgery, Diabetic eye disease, Macular degeneration, inflammatory eye disease (Uveitis), Glaucoma and General Ophthalmology.

The treatments offered include laser and intravitreal injections for macular oedema secondary to diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusions and age-related macular degeneration.

I also offer a service for medical treatment of glaucoma and general ophthalmological problems such as blurred vision, redness, floaters and watery eyes.

I specialise in Cataract surgery with premium intraocular lens implants for correction of near and short sightedness and astigmatism. I am one of the few surgeons with an expertise in complex cataract surgery in Diabetes and inflammatory disorders (Uveitis).

I undertook the vast majority of my postgraduate ophthalmic training at King’s College Hospital (London) and Addenbrooke’s Hospital (Cambridge) complementing my training with a Fellowship in Medical Retina and Uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

I am married with two teenage boys. I enjoy cycling, swimming and trekking. I took part in the London to Paris bike ride in July 2016, supporting the Blind Veterans charity. I am supporting Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) by taking part in an Iceland Trek in 2018.
