Background:

Mr Wazait is a Consultant Urological Surgeon and Clinical Lead at the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He is trained in all aspects of General Urology and Cancer Diagnostic Urology (primarily Prostate Cancer and Bladder Cancer diagnostics), with a sub-special interest in Kidney Stones, Green Light LASER Vaporisation of the Prostate and Interstitial Cystitis. He is expert in minimally invasive stone surgery.

Mr Wazait completed his specialist training in the North London hospitals network and spent his period of clinical research at The Royal College of Surgeons of England and Whittington Hospital in London. His final year of training was in the world-renowned Stone Unit at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospitals. The Unit was awarded as a Fellowship centre and centre of Excellence by the European Board of Urology.

Mr Wazait is an experienced consultant and moved to London in 2017 having previously worked as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Addenbrooke and Hinchingbrooke hospitals in Cambridgeshire and Lister Hospital in Stevenage. He is published in peer-reviewed journals and presented nationally and internationally on different urological topics. He has also taught in various national courses and trained many urologists in training. He is honorary lecturer at the Brunel University

He has been awarded the title of Faculty Tutor, Institute of Urology and Nephrology in London. He was included in the editions of Who's Who in medicine and Healthcare (USA).
