Dr Adam Culverwell

Consultant Radiologist | Lead Cancer Clinician | Expert in Gastrointestinal Radiology, Hepatology and Elastography, Health Screening, Cancer Imaging & Non-Vascular Intervention

As a dedicated Consultant Radiologist with extensive experience in gastrointestinal radiology, I am passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services tailored to meet the unique needs of my patients. My clinical practice is rooted in a commitment to excellence and innovation, particularly in the areas of health screening and cancer imaging.

In my role as the Lead Cancer Clinician in my NHS practice, I oversee a multidisciplinary team focused on providing comprehensive care for patients with cancer. I lead a Rapid Diagnostic Service that specialises in accurately diagnosing conditions that present with difficult and vague symptoms that may indicate serious underlying pathology. This service is designed to ensure that patients receive timely and effective evaluations, allowing for early intervention and improved outcomes.

My clinical interests extend to non-vascular interventions, where I use advanced imaging techniques to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions. I believe in a patient-centered approach, ensuring that each individual receives personalised care and compassion throughout their journey.

With access to state-of-the-art imaging technology and several sites and a wealth of experience, I am dedicated to providing exceptional radiological services that empower patients and support their healthcare providers.
