About me
I have worked as a counsellor in NHS and private practice settings for 15 years. During this time I have worked across a number of specialties and with a wide variety of clients of different ages, cultures, religions and orientations. I have employed different approaches to therapy to provide bespoke interventions and treatment programmes.
I am a BABCP accredited therapist and therefore the approach I take is regulated and bound by codes of professional conduct in relation to confidentiality and ethical practice. As a Registered Nurse (Mental Health) I am also guided by these principles.
Alongside my therapy role I am responsible for training CBT Therapists and providing clinical supervision.
