About me
I am a fellowship trained full-time spine surgeon based in Leeds. I have been a consultant in complex spine surgery since 2011. My special interests include complex spinal reconstructive surgery, scoliosis correction, and revision spine procedures. I treat patients with disc prolapse, spinal stenosis, deformity of the spine, tumours and cancers of the spine, other degenerative conditions affecting the spine, and arm and leg pain originating from the spine. I also offer the whole range of spinal diagnostic, minimally invasive and routine spine procedures as well including spinal injections and decompression surgery, vertebroplasty, tumour surgery, and spine surgery in children and adolescents. I am also happy to provide second opinions, and follow up reviews for patients who have had scoliosis surgery abroad, including VBT procedures. My NHS practice is based at LGI, and you can contact my NHS secretary Kirsty Mahoney on Tuesday-Friday 10am til 2pm. My private secretary is Janine Culley who is based at Nuffield Hospital Leeds, and can be contacted from Monday to Thursday on 0113 3882230.
