About me

Miss Rahat Khan is an experienced gynaecologist who has a diverse and broad experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology. She spent her childhood in Malta, Rome and UK and received her preliminary education in Malta. She got her primary medical qualification from Karachi and completed her entire obstetrics and gynaecology training in the South Thames London deanery rotational training programme in the UK. She believes in patient-centred care and evidence-based practice. She has publications in peer reviewed journals and has published chapters in text books. She has been a NHS Consultant since 2011 and been clinical services group lead and labour ward lead contributing to vast improvement in women-centred care at her NHS base.
