About me

I am an experienced consultant clinical psychologist, practicing since 2000. I worked in a specialist trauma service in the NHS from 2005-2024, as well as in a staff support service and in a consultant role teaching in trauma-informed care and trauma-informed organisational practice.
I am now in full time independent practice.
I have training and experience in working psychodynamically, as well as in using EMDR and cognitive-behavioural, compassion-focussed and mindfulness-based techniques. I am skilled in working cross-culturally and my eclectic training and experience allows me to meet individual need.
My focus is on working with people to make better sense of themselves and their difficulties with the goal of developing greater insight and more compassionate and effective ways of coping. I have a particular interest in working with people who are suffering the effects of trauma, including PTSD and Complex PTSD, depression, anxiety and relationship difficulties, stemming from childhood experiences.
