Professor Sai Kolli is a highly experienced Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and one of the UK's leading experts in cataract surgery, refractive lens exchange, laser vision correction and corneal disease. He is based at the renowned University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, where he is Lead Consultant for Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham.
Professor Kolli graduated from the University of Cambridge with First Class honours and has over 20 years' experience in ophthalmology. Following advanced specialist training at the world-famous Moorfields Eye Hospital, he completed fellowships in both corneal and external eye disease, as well as cataract and refractive surgery � a rare combination of expertise that allows him to manage both routine and highly complex cases.
Widely recognised for his personalised approach to vision correction, Professor Kolli specialises in modern cataract surgery, premium lens implants, refractive lens exchange and laser refractive surgery. He is particularly experienced in helping patients reduce their dependence on glasses through tailored surgical solutions designed around their lifestyle and visual needs.
