He completed advanced training in laparoscopic (keyhole) gynaecological surgery at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals. He is currently a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Bedford and Luton Hospitals and is the Lead for the Endometriosis and Robotic Surgery Service.

Mr Mahran has a broad range of expertise in general gynaecology, including the medical and surgical management of menstrual disorders and pelvic pain. His specialist interests include endometriosis and advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. His work has played a key role in establishing Bedford Hospital as a leading centre for laparoscopic and robotic surgery, providing high-quality care for women in Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes.

Mr Mahran sees patients for a wide range of women's healthrelated concerns, all of which are listed in the treatments section.
