About me

Sally is the owner and principal therapist of Hand Therapy Specialists. She is a Clinical Specialist in Hand Therapy and has over 20 years of experience in Hand and Upper Limb specialist therapy.

Sally is a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), one of only six in the UK, achieving certification by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (USA) in 2007. A Certified Hand Therapist is a world recognised distinguished credential demonstrating a dedicated therapist who has met the highest standard of proficiency, and is recognised as a benchmark for excellence in advanced specialty of Hand Therapy. Sally is also an Accredited Hand Therapist (AHT), achieving certification in Australia by the Australian Hand Therapy Credentialing Council.

Sally has previously established and managed her own Hand Therapy private practice in Australia, and has worked at a number of leading Hand Therapy units in London including The Royal London Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and St Georges Hospital.

Sally was also involved in the innovative ‘One-Stop Carpal Tunnel Clinic’, a UK first, run through Charing Cross Hospital. Sally is a trained NeuroMetrix Nerve Conduction Study clinician.

Sally has a passion for hand therapy and injury problem solving and strongly believes in providing an exceptional quality of care, with a focus on a return to full capacity. She provides complete personalised and holistic care, using innovative approaches that draw on her extensive knowledge and experience.
