About me

I am a Consultant Cardiologist with over 25 years of experience in the field of cardiology. Having completed my specialist training in the Yorkshire region, I have been working as a Consultant Cardiologist in the NHS for nearly 20 years. During this time, I have developed extensive expertise in diagnosing and managing both routine and complex cardiac conditions. I am accredited by the British Heart Rhythm Society (BHRS) in cardiac pacing and regularly perform coronary angiography and pacemaker implantation, in addition to reporting nuclear cardiology studies.
Alongside my clinical practice, I hold a Master's degree in Sports Cardiology from St George's University, London. This has enhanced my interest and expertise in assessing cardiovascular health in athletes and active individuals, as well as supporting patients who wish to improve their heart health through exercise. My approach is focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care � listening carefully, communicating clearly, and working in partnership with patients to agree the most appropriate treatment plan for their needs.
