About me
Mr. Dawson-Bowling is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in the treatment of painful hip and knee conditions, including failed joint replacements.
After completing his medical training at the University of Cambridge and Guy's and St. Thomas' Medical School in London, he was appointed to the South Thames Orthopaedic Training programme. Since his qualification in 2000 he has gained extensive experience in all areas of orthopaedic surgery, focussing especially on conditions affecting the hip and knee.
In 2010 he spent a period of time gaining specialist experience with the internationally renowned hip and knee specialist Paul Pellicci at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He has also completed fellowship training in hip and knee surgery at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore.
He has previously held a consultant post St. George's Hospital, London, and in 2013 he was appointed to his present consultant employment with Barts Health NHS Trust, the largest teaching hospital trust in the UK.
He also holds a degree in medical law and offers medicolegal services.
