About me

I am a Consultant Counselling Psychologist, HCPC Registered Counselling Psychologist and BABCP Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist.

Since training as a counselling psychologist and achieving chartered status with the BPS in the mid-1990s, I have worked in a variety of roles, including delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and managing and providing clinical leadership to NHS services in Surrey and West Sussex. Whilst I mainly use CBT in my clinical work, I draw on other models of psychological therapy as required.

I have worked in NW Surrey, as Head of Service and Lead Clinician, for teams which deliver NHS contracts for mental health services for those with mild-to-moderate symptoms.

I am an experienced supervisor and trainer of both qualified clinicians and those who are undertaking placements as part of their training in CBT and other models of psychological treatment.
