About me
I am a Chartered Psychologist, EMDR practitioner, and Chartered Scientist, as well as an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Over the years, I have worked within the NHS, charitable organisations, and the private sector, supporting people with a wide range of psychological difficulties. My particular area of interest is trauma, and I am a member of the UK Psychological Trauma Society.
My approach is grounded in the belief that a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful change. I use evidence-based treatments tailored to each person's needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and third-wave CBT approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness.
In 2008, I established Riverside Psychology Service to provide an empathetic, professional, and flexible space where individuals can find support in overcoming emotional challenges.
If you would like to explore how I could support you, please feel free to contact me on 07811475228 for a no-obligation conversation.
Sessions are available face-to-face, online, or by telephone.
